Happppppy Monday Everyone!
Many of you know that this marks my first actual “Seven Moments That Inspired Me This Week” Blog Post!
I was so enlightened by the overwhelming positive messages I received from friends, family and many of you, after sharing my intro post on my Seven Moments series! The goal is to share one moment from my day (something I was grateful for), for every day of the week.
In a year, we’ll be able to look back on 365 happy moments together!
The more I share my moments, the more I encourage you to share yours! You can share them with me right here on my blog by commenting below, or you can share them with only yourself.
The point is to make note of them and to write them down, because ultimately, positive thoughts bring positive things. Here are the seven peaches from my week that I’m grateful for:
Yesterday I spent nearly the entire day in the kitchen… with my camera tossed over my shoulder. (Click here to find out which DSLR camera I’m currently shooting with)
You’ve likely seen some of my creations from Sunday for a project I was working on for Burnbrae Farms! I was grateful to have worked with them on their #EGGHacks & #EGGCreations campaign. Catch one of my Burnbrae EGG Creations here!
Monday morning I arrived at work to be reunited with my dear friend (that many of you know by now, I’m sure) Megan from Meg’s Cucina! Megan had been out of the office at a conference the prior week, so catching up with her was definitely the highlight of my day! J
It seems like catching up with friends was a back to back affair! Tuesday evening, I caught up with an old friend at Cactus Club Café here in Toronto! We shared a small bottle of prosecco and caught up on all the great memories we’ve shared since moving to Toronto together! Crazy to think it’s been two and half years now!
Wednesday was like a dream come true as I attended my first event from the #DiscoverPC program I’m working on with President’s Choice!
Myself, a few of the friendly folks at President’s Choice and a handful of other bloggers reunited to talk food photography! We gathered at The Mobile Shop at the Loblaw’s on St Clair West, and together we shared food, laughs and tips on food photography!
On Thursday, the annual Gourmet Food & Wine Expo kicked off with a media VIP preview night! Megan and I attended together and sample some delicious bites from local Toronto & Ontario food & wine vendors! I left with a full belly and memories filled with laughs and good times!
With the weekend being just hours away, I used to Friday evening to unwind with S after a long week, but also to fuel up for my Saturday plans! I prepped all the food and ingredients needed for:
On Saturday, Megan of Meg’s Cucina and I got together (yes, again) to cook up a storm in my kitchen! Together we made three different toast recipes you can find here, and one yummy Asian noodle bowl!
