Last weekend, S and I took to Bloor Street to wrap up all of our holiday shopping, when we came across these great vintage-style HomeSense picture frames!
We had been looking for some good ones to use for our engagement photos (checkout some of my favourite shots here) for a while now. And as we just redecorated/refurnished our condo – more posts to come on some of the great finds we came across – we knew we wanted some mixed vintage-style frames to start a wall of memories. See here for our inspiration board!
The engagement photos would just be the beginning!
The plan is to one day have enough photos to cover the entire living room wall. Be it photos of the two of us, candid one-offs we catch when the other isn’t looking, photos of our loved ones or even landscapes I shoot with my Canon 70D, small, medium and large the wall will one day be covered. We might even get some portraits done soon. Apparently, people can get a Handmade Portrait From Photos online, so we might look into that. It would be really nice to get a portrait of our dog or maybe a wedding picture. We think that would look amazing on the wall.
I was so happy when we found these at HomeSense, we literally just happened to pop in to browse and ended up leaving with six picture frames, some gifts for the fam and a wicked cool storage bench for the living room. A couple hundred bucks later, no regrets, cuz we found exactly what we’d been searching for. When it came to hanging them up and styling the wall, all I knew was that I wanted them to have a scattered and unorganized look, and in the end it turned out great! I might head over to Henry’s to have the photos reprinted, I feel like they’d be able to print the shots with a super slick satin finish!
Next to go up on the wall will be our framed wedding invitations which we had made at Cry if I Want To (they are to die for BTW – will share pics soon), and our wedding/honeymoon photos. In the end, it was another successful shopping trip with these great HomeSense Picture Frames we used for our inspiration board / memory wall! What kind of goodies have you found while holiday shopping?

Hi
I received a gift card marked “Winners Homesense.Marshalls”. I live in Campbell River on Vancouver Island. BC where there are none of these 3 stores and since I am a senior, can’t travel to another city to shop. Tried to go online for Homesense (wanted picture frames or waste baskets, etc.) but always sent to the Wayfair site, who won’t accept my gift card I.D. number. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
