Eight days into the new year and I’m still wishing people a happy new year!
What is the cut-off point on that anyway?! I like to pretend the whole month of January is perfectly acceptable in wishing people a happy new year. Sooooo, in light of this, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This is actually my first “Seven Moments to be Grateful for” post of 2017! I hope the holidays found everyone well! I know I made sure to take some time off to spend with my family. And for those who’ve been following along, thank you for the congratulations messages on finding out that I’m going to be an uncle! I originally shared that little nugget of news in my Vegan Cinnamon Buns Recipe post.
It was a magical Christmas and start to the new year, indeed! Here are the seven peaches of my days this week that I’m most grateful for!
Toasting to a happy New Year!
Enjoying macarons that my friend brought back from Paris!
A hot yoga class in the evening which left me hot and sweaty, but reminded me of the important things in life and letting go of negativity.
Getting to work with President’s Choice on their #EatTogether campaign. Have a look at this video they put together, it’s a REAL tear-jerker. Head over to my Twitter account to see what I shared!
A fresh plate of veggies to brighten my day and energize my afternoon!
A lunch date with a fellow blogger and friend: Aggie from The Aggie Diaries! We had a really enlightening conversation that left me in a happy, positive state of mind for the rest of the day!
I was originally going to write “Getting to see The Illusionist” (a magic show performance in Toronto), but because my heartmate was sick on Saturday, the peach of my day was getting to take care of him. I made a fresh batch of soup, and we cuddled and watched movies all afternoon.
