I look like an xmas tree ornament in the featured photo, don’t I?! An Inspired By Nick Christmas Miracle LOL!
I’m extra happy in these awesome pictures (taken by the talented @loveoverlenses) because we were chatting about all the last-minute wedding details in the final one month countdown before the big day! Every time I think about how much time is left before the wedding, I can’t help but be reminded of how quickly time flies! I feel like I shouldn’t even blink or I might miss it!
I’ve always loved the months of February and March in Toronto – light jacket weather with a glimpse of the warmer months to come. The day that these photos were taken, I was head over heels giddy in love with the warm breeze, and just knew that I had to head over to Sugar Beach. It’s right on the waterfront of the city, adjacent to the financial district, and it also happens to be one of my favourite, most charming and relaxing places that I’ve found in the city. Normally it’s packed in the summer months with families, couples and fitness junkies looking to have fun and soak up the sun. But in the cooler months of spring and autumn, this little gem is my go-to!
The perfect place to curl up with a book and cup of hot cocoa!
Sugar Beach really is like an oasis. I could sit on one of those chairs facing the water for hours, just relaxing with my thoughts. In these pics, you already know I had my upcoming wedding day on my mind, and I love how my friend Aminaz (@loveoverlenses) was able to capture that sentiment so perfectly. I don’t particularly ever feel like the most photogenic person on the planet, but I truly do appreciate when a photo can so beautifully capture a person’s inner joy. The second Aminaz asked me to share my thoughts on the big day, my face lit up with an uncontrollable grin from ear to ear.
The entire day was a great reminder to live life to the fullest and appreciate all of blessings we’re fortunate enough to have! Time really does fly and life is short, so it’s important to take a break every now and again to simply appreciate. For me, it was time to focus on the positive and shed all the negative energy and stress!
What do you think of the photos? I think you can tell I’m entirely in love with them! Stay inspired friends!
