A couple of months ago, me, the hubbie and our little fur-baby headed to Winter Woofstock.
If you’ve never heard of or been to one of these shows before, Woofstock, is known to the best the largest outdoor festival for dogs in North America. The organization hosts several events throughout the year, and the Winter Woofstock Edition was held just a few months ago at Exhibition Place in Toronto.
Tons of vendors from the big names like Purina, Milk Bone and PetSmart typically have a booth and there are also smaller vendors and mom and pop shops (which I typically tend to gravitate to more) introducing their products, services and new lines of treats for dogs. Most of them will be giving away branded freebies from Custom Water bottles to dog bowls, and some will even be giving away free samples of food and treats for your pooch to enjoy. As you can imagine, attending as an exhibitor is an excellent marketing opportunity. Just make sure that you have plenty of promotional materials to hand out to passers-by if you are a vendor at a trade show like this one. Above all, this ensures that people can find out more about your business! Business cards, flyers, and postcards can all be designed and printed online nowadays using websites like Printivity so do not be afraid to get creative!
As a visitor though, you can learn so much about all the ways in which you can care for your pooch. For example, I learned about a great solution for a dog ear infection colloidal silver! Who knew? Here are some pics of some dog goodies we got to take home! The trade show itself is awesome in that it not only allows dog owners to network with each other, but it also provides an opportunity to be introduced to a plethora of new brands, and possibly discuss the different places that offer Pet Vaccinations Frisco TX. The show is a great way to get that human connection for a lot of brands we really only have access to online.
Needless to say, Zsa Zsa our little chihuahua L-O-V-E-D attending Winter Woofstock!
He got to meet a TON of new little furry friends, he sampled healthy organic dog treats and even got to compete in a mini indoor obstacle course made for small dogs.
As I mentioned, Woofstock hosts several events throughout the year. In the fall of 2015, Zsazsa was invited to attend an afternoon of doggy high tea, graciously hosted at The Royal York Hotel in Toronto, ON. He got to sip on saucers of chicken broth, taste some gourmet dog cookies, watch his many fur-friends walk down the runway (no I am not kidding) and even take a picture with the Katy Perry doppelganger (again, not kidding). Woofstock really knows how to throw a great, dog-friendly event. As enthusiastic as some dog owners can get at these events, they really can be enjoyable to spend a couple of hours with your pup. Definitely highly recommend!
